About Ben

A leader shaped by service, courage, and community

Ben Sauceda is an author, speaker, and President/CEO of the Kansas Aviation Museum. His story spans public service, nonprofit leadership, faith-based leadership, civic engagement, and a deep commitment to helping communities grow stronger.

The son of a first-generation Mexican-American, Ben grew up grounded in the values of hard work, service, and generosity. He graduated high school at 16 and built a career that has included leading sales teams, serving as an Associate Pastor, helping launch and accredit a Christian school, leading in county government, and guiding transformational growth at the Kansas Aviation Museum.

He has served as a City Councilmember, chaired a major fundraising campaign for Blood Cancers United, spoken at the NPR National Conference, and served on the State of Kansas Emerging Aviation Technology Group. His work is marked by one simple conviction: meaningful impact comes from leaning into the hard things.

Leadership is Personal

Some of the most important lessons in leadership didn’t come from success—they came from struggle. From navigating depression to stepping into roles without clear answers, Ben’s leadership is shaped by the belief that you don’t go through hard things alone—and you don’t have to lead alone either.

Take The Next Step

Leadership gets lonely—but it doesn’t have to stay that way.

Who in your life has permission to challenge you?

What’s the hard thing you’ve been putting off?

Take the next step. Not the big leap—just the next step.
